Good morning, yesterday was the 10th of October, world mental health day. I thought I’d link you up to some blog posts I’ve written on this topic.

The first is a post outlining boundaries and why they’re so important. Have you ever felt like people walk all over you? Or maybe you feel lost and that you spend your time looking after everyone else? Then this would be a good read for you.

What are boundaries and why are they good for you?

The second is a post about domestic violence. I reflect on what happened to me and my story. I read somewhere that ‘when women share their stories wonderful things begin to happen.’ I thought that was kind of beautiful and I think it’s true, it took a lot of courage to write this and now I have shared it I feel empowered.

If you’re experiencing domestic violence, or you think you might be, contact Refuge (UK) national domestic abuse hotline 0808 2000 247

Single mothers are not monsters

Next I’ve written a post on issues with low self-esteem and anxiety. I talk about how I overcame them and how I learned to see myself in a positive way.

A confident journey into the abyss
