The Star card and the Fool

Last night I found out that my dear school friend has sadly passed away. I am still in shock about it all.

It wasn’t the day I had planned to share with you.

I am feeling a bit sombre and am filled with sadness. It really wasn’t what I’d expected to happen at all, she was so young. It’s such sad news for her family.

I’ve always thought Tarot Cards were beautiful. But as I’m getting older they are becoming part of my life.

So many shocking things have happened this year that they are giving me some peace in what has and is going to happen.

When I had my Tarot card reading this month I was given a Tower Card. I was told to expect a surprise that would shock me.

I am so sad to have lost another friend to addiction. It breaks my heart.

Yesterday I was working on these photographs so I thought I’d share them with you all.

Today I am editing them listening to Bat For Lashes – Two Suns Album

Inspired by some of the Major Arcana in Tarot Cards, I have a collection of photography. I loved these photographs so much I’ve used them for my music on Soundcloud.

The High Priestess:

This is a card of mystery. It suggests that it’s time to retreat and reflect upon the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you. Things around you aren’t what they appear to be…

The Sun

This card portends good fortune, happiness, joy and harmony. It represents the universe coming together and agreeing with your path and aiding forward movement into something greater.

This card indicates that you should learn to bring about balance, patience and moderation in life. You should not take the middle road, avoid extremes and maintain a sense of calm.

The Hierophant

Hierophant stands for tradition and convention. It can represent marriage in an arranged setup. It can also mean a teacher or councillor who will help with learning.

The Fool

Represents new beginnings, having faith in the future, being inexperienced, not knowing what to expect, having beginners luck, improvisation and believing in the universe.

The Empress

Is traditionally associated with maternal influence, it is the card if you are hoping to start a family. She can also represent the creation of life, romance, art or a new business.

The Lovers

This card represents relationships and choices. It indicates a choice, present relationship or temptation.

Death implies the end of a cycle, relationship or interest and therefore an increased sense of self-awareness.

The Star

When the Star card appears, you are likely to find yourself feeling inspired. It brings renewed hope and faith and a sense that you are truly blessed by the universe at this time.

I hope I have brought you all some luck today.
