I can’t believe it’s November already, the last of Autumn is clinging to the trees and the last few rays of sunshine found their way to me on Sunday. My daughter and I decided to go for a walk to enjoy the crisp air. I’ll admit, I’ve been so busy recently between a new business course that I’m studying and my new hair care business, I haven’t found much time for blogging recently. Actually, snacking on some delicious Rheal Energy Bars has been keeping me going, but I’ll get to that in a bit.

I’ve been a little burnt out I think, burning the midnight oil and working into the night. Of course it was inevitable to catch a nasty cough and cold last week, it’s that time of year again, and having children always leaves you vulnerable to catching bugs and colds that they pick up from school.

I’m really thankful that I stocked up on my Immunity support capsules when I did from Monat as BIOHM, sadly, are no longer selling their products in the UK. I was really upset when they announced this, but luckily my new partnership with Modern Nature sells lots of wellness goodies, so I’ve switched to their Immune support capsules instead.

I think they’re the best substitute I could find for my superfood blends. They have lots of vitamins in such as B vitamins and I like that they have Cordyceps in, to help with brain function. They also contain adaptogens which are plants that help to reduce stress. As we have lower stress levels, the amount of Cortisol we produce should decrease- decreasing our vulnerability to viruses. Finally, they contain things like Vitamin D, Iron and Vitamin C to help with immunity.

I’ve been working so hard, my immunity took a back seat and I just forgot to take care of my health. Still, I really enjoyed my little Autumn walk with my daughter. I have to keep reminding myself that there is more to life than work!

In other news, I’ve also lost my Facebook page for my blog, which was deeply upsetting, as it had taken me three years to painstakingly build (not to mention the money I had spent on advertising). But, never mind, every cloud has a silver lining and with this loss, I’m currently thinking of rebranding. I was thinking of changing my name to Lass on the Tyne, or something to that description. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Anyway, I think the only thing that’s kept me going these past few weeks are my new energy bars from Rheal. I already use the Balanced Superfood Tonic which is good for women’s health, so I couldn’t resist trying their energy bars.

I got the variety boxes of these caffeinated oat bars, and you get four delicious flavours. Each one contains the equivalent of one espresso shot. They’re also gluten free and vegan friendly. They are perfect for grabbing on the go, and I like to take them out as a snack when I’m on a little adventure and taking photographs for the blog.

I think Banana Bread is my favourite flavour but there are four delicious flavours to try which include blueberry muffin, peanut butter and hazelnut cacao. Each bar contains fibre and the superfood Guarana, which has the same amount of caffeine as coffee and gives you a slow release of energy throughout the day.

Each bar also contains dried fruit and nut, so you can enjoy a heath kick and a good dose of energy at the same time. I’m really enjoying my Superfood Energy Bars. You can also enjoy 30% off your first subscription order which I think is an awesome deal. Enjoy the last days of Autumn which this Rheal good deal.
