My History

I grew up in The Netherlands, in the Hauge and moved to England when I was young.

My dad was a punk singer. I get my rebellious nature from him.

I’m creative and love to dabble in photography. I’m a writer predominantly but I believe you need more than one creative outlet, just like you need vices.

I was a trained chef for seven years but when the pandemic hit and left the hospitality sector in ruins I decided to start this blog.

I’d like to share with you part of my psyche. I hid from myself for quite sometime, because I thought creativity was a negative aspect of my character.

Now I’m ready to embrace it.

I am passionate about confidence building and aim to encourage others to both believe in and be themselves.

I am currently studying a diploma in Social Media Marketing with the predicted grade : Distinction.

It’s something that I’ve realised I love.

At first I started studying it to help improve my blog, but then I started to connect with people and I realised that I absolutely love this role.

If you would like to get in touch to discuss projects please feel free.

Sign up today for my free three day course and learn how I started blogging, I share tips I’ve picked up along the way, things I wish I’d known at the beginning and how to grow your social media platforms…

I’ve always loved to write, blogging has become somewhere I can share my passions, photography and love of all things 60’s, of course.

I share the things I’ve learnt about blogging along the way because I know how difficult it can be when you’re first starting out. What a journey it has been…

So far I’ve been lucky enough to meet some amazing writers, that are always happy to help and share content. Blogging was just something that kind of happened in my life and now I’m so glad it did!

There have been tears and just sheer moments of confusion at times, so I want to build a community where we can all share blogging tips.

If you’re a blogger get in touch, let’s support each other.
